When Was the Last Time You Felt 100% YOU?
I have a Jeep.
I bought it 22 years ago, and to say I’m ridiculously attached to it would be an understatement. It’s aging—like we all do—and lately, I’ve started to feel some anxiety creeping in:
“What am I going to do when it stops running?”
“How could I ever replace it?”
“What if I can’t find another Jeep I love as much as this one??”
Yep, I know—it’s a bit unhealthy. But here we are.
The other day, I was driving down the road, singing my heart out, and I felt SO AMAZING.
Sure, it was one of those perfect early spring days:
The sun was shining.
The air carried the warmth of good things to come.
The birds were singing their own joyful songs.
But I knew my pure joy wasn’t just about the weather or the birds.
It hit me: I FELT LIKE ME.
Like, the truest version of myself—the one I hadn’t felt in days… maybe even weeks.
And I realized something: my joy wasn’t really about my Jeep (though let’s be honest, it was a little bit). It was about the freedom I felt. That lightness that shows up when we are unapologetically doing our thing, showing up for our lives, and being totally, and completely, ourselves.
So, when was the last time YOU felt 100% YOU?
What did it feel like?
What were you doing?
Who were you with?
And most importantly:
Were you able to carry that feeling forward into that next thing in your life?
Because here’s the truth:
That feeling of FREEDOM, EASE, and FLOW is the key to it all.
The more we can live in that space of self-expression, the richer, easier, and more abundant our lives will be.
That’s what we all want, right?
I’d love to hear about your moment of pure joy. Share it in the comments below!
And if you’re struggling to remember the last time you felt like YOU, send me a message. I’ve got some tools to help you excavate her—because trust me, she’s still in there.
You’ve got this, my friend.
Keep shining!
